Tonight’s topic

The core problem for companies today in cyber insurance is answering the question, “how much risk should we retain?” By knowing the answer, you can do more with your budget, avoid attritional losses and improve security and risk ROI. This forms part of this event’s discussion on the benefits the CISO can realize by getting involved in the insurance process.

The evening will include a discussion on technology that constantly validates when a company’s external cyber risks exceed hundreds of other corporations and identifies when it is being more persistently targeted. Years of breach analysis show that the persistent targeting of networks is a predictor of larger, costly breaches.

Ryan Dodd of Intangic, and Michael Colao, Global Chief Underwriting Officer - Direct and Indirect Cyber Risks, AXA XL look forward to discussing how CROs and CISOs can form links in the same security value chain, united in the mission to avoid large breaches.

About our sponsor

The core problem for companies today in cyber insurance is answering the question, “how much risk should we retain?” By knowing the answer, you can do more with your budget, avoid attritional losses and improve security and risk ROI. Intangic’s CyFi Dashboard™ gives CROs and CISOs the power to see cyber risk at a unique scale across all threat environments where others can’t, providing 24/7 risk validation.

The Intangic tool constantly validates when your external cyber risks exceed hundreds of other corporations and identifies when you are being more persistently targeted. Years of breach analysis show that the persistent targeting of networks is a predictor of larger, costly breaches. This is why Intangic is trusted by the insurance industry to underwrite cyber policies.

This early warning technology provides risk and security teams with transparent, prioritized actions for detecting and preventing risks long before the large breach occurs.

The company was built by world leaders in cyber and data science. Alongside Ryan Dodd, Intangic’s leadership team includes Dana Deasy, the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the US Department of Defense and former CIO and MD at JP Morgan Chase as well as Chris Key, the former Chief Product Officer at Mandiant, the worldwide market leader in threat intelligence and expertise gained on the frontlines of cyber security. In addition to its SaaS platform, Intangic can also issue insurance policies backed by AXA XL, one of the world’s largest P&C insurers.
