Topic for this evening
Your SOC Sees Every Endpoint, Except the One in Every Pocket
Mobile devices have become the primary identity surface in most organisations, carrying credentials, MFA and direct access to sensitive systems. Yet while laptops and servers are covered by mature detection and response, mobile is typically managed for compliance rather than monitored for compromise. That gap is widening. Exploit chains such as Coruna and DarkSword, built to nation-state standards, have been adopted by multiple threat actors, operate inside trusted system processes and require no jailbreak. At the same time, AI is shortening the time between vulnerability discovery and a working exploit, putting pressure on patch cycles as a primary defense. This evening's discussion will explore how security leaders are assessing their mobile exposure, what their teams would do today if they suspected a phone was compromised, and what it takes to bring mobile into the same detect, triage, respond and learn cycle as every other critical endpoint.
About our speakers
Ivan Foreman, EMEA Sales Director @ iVerify
Prior to joining iVerify he held senior sales, channel and advisory roles at various cyber security startups including ScanSafe (acquired by Cisco), Wandera ( acquired by Jamf), Illusive Networks (acquired by Proofpoint) and Nozomi Networks (acquired by Mistubishi Electric Corporation). Ivan is originally from South Africa and has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Economics, Marketing & Business Administration) from The University of Kwazulu Natal.

David Gillies, Head of Android Research @ iVerify.
David has worked in mobile security and forensics for over a decade, with previous roles spanning Morgan Stanley, the Scottish Police, and the UK Government. He’s deeply passionate about mobile security and enjoys pushing into new and emerging areas of research and technology.
About our sponsor
iVerify is a pioneer in Mobile Endpoint Detection and Response (Mobile EDR), giving security teams kernel-adjacent visibility into iOS and Android devices. Laptops and servers have long had EDR; mobile devices have not. iVerify helps close that gap, enabling organisations to detect, investigate and respond to threats that Mobile Device Management (MDM) and legacy Mobile Threat Defense tools were not designed to see.
Mobile devices now hold authentication tokens, MFA applications, corporate email and access to cloud systems, yet they remain among the least instrumented endpoints in the enterprise. iVerify runs the full detection cycle on mobile. OS-level telemetry and behavioural analysis flag indicators of compromise. Alerts flow into existing SIEM, SOAR and XDR workflows and can trigger conditional access. iVerify analysts triage and investigate, and new indicators are swept back across the fleet. iVerify deploys alongside MDM, with MAM or standalone, and is designed to protect both corporate-owned and BYOD devices without accessing personal data by default.
iVerify’s research team tracks mobile exploit kits, commercial spyware and adversary infrastructure. In March 2026 it published coordinated research with Google Threat Intelligence Group on DarkSword, a full-chain iOS exploit kit adopted by multiple threat actors. That came two weeks after iVerify and Google published research on the Coruna exploit kit. The team has also detected Pegasus and Paragon Graphite activity, and its findings are operationalised directly into the platform. iVerify works with organisations across financial services, government and the public sector, and technology.
