Topic for this dinner

One of the top cybersecurity priorities identified by Gartner for 2022 is the need to better manage the expanding attack surface. This is a result of many factors including the shift to the cloud, the rise of connected third-party infrastructures, the distributed workfoce and more. To understand and address this challenge, security leaders need to know about all of their digital assets, and be able to measure the cyber risk and exposure they represent. The discussion will centre on how organizations are building programs and strategies around exposure and attack surface management.

Our speakers

Paul Ayers, CEO & Co-Founder @ Noetic Cyber
&
Simon Goldsmith, Director of Information Security @ OVO Energy
Simon’s background is in UK military and national security intelligence management and technology. After helping to lead the build of a commercial sector cybersecurity and financial crime business for a defense and aerospace multi-national, he spent two years with a Big Four consultancy and then led the Infosec program for a global sports brand. He has lived and worked in the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and has a particular interest in understanding the boundaries of cybersecurity, financial crime, and cybernetic systems engineering. A passion for sports and a short stint as a professional rugby player means he tends to overuse sports analogies to describe resilience and security teamwork and performance.
