The Role
 
Responsibilities:
 
The ideal candidate will be a Cyber Security Analyst with strong technical skills and experience supporting compliance audits, particularly SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2. This role combines day-to-day security monitoring and incident response ensuring that security and IT controls meet the requirements for external audits and client assurance.  The analyst will be an integral member of the Global Information Technology team and work closely with IT, compliance, and external auditors to provide evidence of controls, improve processes, and strengthen the security posture of the business.
Monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts and support vulnerability management patching. Assist with incident response, root cause analysis, reporting and maintain documentation.  Proactively monitor and anticipate regulatory changes across all jurisdictions of operations. Maintain a 6 – 12 months outlook to translate emerging requirements into timely policy updates enabling the company to stay audit ready and ahead of evolving SOC and Cyber Security standards.
 
Skills & Knowledge:
•              Strong knowledge of core cyber security concepts (network security, identity management, threat detection).
•              Hands-on experience with security monitoring and IT tools (e.g., SIEM, Network Configuration Manager, Zabbix, HALO, DarkTrace and Fortinet firewalls).
•              Familiarity with IT Access controls
•              Experience supporting or participating in SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 audits.
•              Excellent documentation and evidence-gathering skills.
•              Strong communication skills for working with auditors, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
•              Understand and maintain IT Controls relevant to SOC1 Type II and SOC 2 compliance
•              Advanced master’s degree(or equivalently higher degree preferred) with a major/focus in Information Technology
•              Experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries
•              Strong written and verbal communication skills, and good presentation skills
•              Fluent in English
